Hello! Two quick transportation questions: 1) Can you travel via Disney bus with toddlers that usually require a car seat? (ages 2 and 3) 2) what is the average bus time to the magic kingdom from the Pop Century Resort? Thank you!

Hi Melissa!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love using the Disney bus transportation system when vacationing at Walt Disney World.  It makes getting to and from the parks so easy, even with small children.  When riding the buses, small children do not need a car seat or a booster seat.  They can sit in the seat beside you or even sit on your lap.  Just make sure if you are bringing a stroller, you take your kids out of it and fold it up.  They are not allowed to sit in the stroller on the bus.  The average time to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Pop Century Resort is about 12-15 minutes depending on traffic.  Buses start running to each theme park 1 hour prior to opening.  When figuring out what time you want to be at the park be sure to not only take travel time into consideration but the bag check line and the line to enter the theme park.

Have a magical day.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
