Can you use two quick service meals for character dining?

    Hello Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

Disney Dining Plans are so convenient and really give you the feeling of an all-inclusive vacation. That’s exactly why I always add one to my family’s Magic Your Way Vacation Package. If you are planning on making reservations for character dining experiences, then the Disney Dining Plan is definitely a great option.

At this time, most character dining locations require one Table-Service entitlement from each Guest in your party on the Disney Dining Plan. The exception is Cinderella’s Royal Table that requires two entitlements because it is a signature dining venue, and dinner shows like Mickey’s Backyard Barbecue. You are currently not allowed to use two Quick-Service entitlements to redeem a Table-Service meal, but you can pay out of pocket for a character dining experience.

Moms Panel tip: one of my favorite Quick-Service locations is Be Our Guest Restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Characters are not available during these two meals to greet Guests, but you still get to dine inside Beast castle, so the experience is definitely magical. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance online, by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Please note that dinner is a Table-Service meal.

Thanks for stopping by! Please come back to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
