Hi Dhara!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is almost here! I know you have been preparing and waiting for this for awhile, so I know how excited you must be that your vacation is THIS MONTH!!!
I am so glad you asked about bringing onboard your own decorations for your stateroom instead of purchasing a package through In-Room Gifts & Amenities because I LOVE decorating our stateroom and stateroom door during each of our voyages! The answer is yes, you most certainly can bring your own! Please note that there are some
restrictions to keep in mind when decorating your stateroom. I have found that using magnets and the occasional blue painter’s tape is the best method for putting up decorations as those will not damage the finish on the stateroom doors or within the stateroom. In fact, a roll of blue painter’s tape is always on my list of things to bring onboard because you never know when you may need it, so we never leave home without a roll!
Your eight-year old will absolutely love his
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover! The Fairy Godmothers-in-Training do an exceptional job of making it a magical and memorable experience for everyone! You can certainly bring in your own costume for the Royal Knight makeover. The makeover includes a hairstyle and a sword and shield, so you can definitely bring him in his costume which will make the experience even more magical for him. Just make sure you have your camera ready when they turn his chair around, so you can capture that first moment he sees his new look!
Wishing you a cruise filled with many magical moments and lots of memories made!
Happy Sailing!
