David Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Two questions. Who do you recomend I buy park passes from? If I buy a 7 night hopper plus plus tix will going to downtown disney count as one nights use?

    Hi David,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I absolutely recommend that you purchase your Theme Park Tickets directly from Walt Disney World Resort. That way, not only can their authenticity be guaranteed, but it’s also really easy to link them to your My Disney Experience account. That step is going to be essential if you want to start making your FastPass+ selections 30 days prior to your arrival (60 days if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel).

If you do choose to purchase them elsewhere, make sure that you’re buying them from a reputable seller. If someone is offering you a deep discount that seems to good to be true, that’s probably because it is!

I have some great news for you, too: a visit to Disney Springs (formerly known as “Downtown Disney”) doesn’t require a Theme Park Ticket. You’ll be able to visit it as many times as you’d like during your stay, regardless of the type of Theme Park Ticket that you’ll ultimately choose to purchase.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
