Hi Melissa!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Art of Animation is one of my favorite hotels on property because it is literally bursting with bright colors and Disney magic around every corner!
While The Little Mermaid standard room does not include a coffee maker in the room, all of the family suites will! They are a Cuisinart two pod coffee maker that use pods, but they are different from the Keurig cups you may be used to. These are more like the style of a tea bag, but that has coffee in them. You'll be provided pods in your room and if at any point you need anymore, a quick call to a Cast Member in housekeeping should get you some more!
For
Disney's Magical Express, once you check in you'll be asked to queue based on which resort you are staying at. In my experience this has never been more than a 10 minute wait, but I know during peak times, Guests can wait close to 30 minutes before boarding the bus. Once you actually get on the bus, there can sometimes be a wait for the bus to fill as well. They want the bus at a certain capacity before it leaves and this can be an additional 20-30 minutes. If you waited in line to board though, this means your bus will likely fill quickly so you shouldn't really wait a long time in line and a long time on the bus, it's generally one or the other. The ride from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World is roughly 25-30 minutes and the bus may make multiple stops before arriving to your specific resort. While I still think it's the best mode of transportation, I want to give you the longest potential times. I'd estimate from the time you land to the time you are at your resort could be around an hour and a half, but I've had it be as short as 40 minutes in the past!
