Welcome to planDisney, Peter. I'm so happy that you reached out to us to answer your question.
According to the
Terms & Conditions, while
theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you can typically apply the amount you paid for a wholly unused ticket to the purchase of a new ticket. While the credit doesn't typically expire, you will be responsible for paying the difference if your new theme park tickets are more expensive, and you will not receive a refund for the difference if your new tickets happen to be less expensive.
You may be able to change your ticket yourself through
My Disney Experience. To find out if you can, simply follow these steps:
1.) Log into your MyDisney account and select "
My Plans" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu.
2.) On this page, you'll want to find the heading "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker."
3.) If there is a "Change Ticket" option next to the ticket you'd like to change, click it and follow the prompts. If there isn't, you'll likely need to
reach out to a friendly Cast Member to complete this process.
Peter, I hope you're able to find time to visit the resort in the future because its future is extra bright! We've got a bunch of exciting reasons to visit in
2025 and
beyond. In the meantime,
feel free to reach out with any other questions.
When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do,
Matt
