Two questions. One, as a passholder do I need a reservation to go to a park in the afternoon - after 2. Two, what time can I switch parks (park hop). Thank you!

    Hi there, Mary!

From one Annual Passholder to another, welcome to planDisney. Let’s talk about how we can park hop with our keys to the Walt Disney World theme parks.

As Annual Passholders, because we’re Guests with tickets that have the Park Hopper Option, we can park hop as soon as we’ve tapped into our first theme park of the day. On a day that you’ve made a theme park reservation (or it’s an “Good To Go” day—green-circled dates on the reservation as calendar), simply visit the reserved theme park and then you can park hop right after. The only exception is if the theme park that you want to park hop to is at capacity, which doesn’t happen very often.

Once the clock strikes 2 p.m., you don’t need a theme park reservation at all (unless it’s a Saturday or Sunday at Magic Kingdom Park). As I mentioned a bit earlier, if it’s a “Good To Go” day, reservations aren’t even required before 2 p.m. So, always be on the lookout for those special dates.

You’re in for the Most Magical time, Mary. While you’re in this neck of the woods, be sure to check out the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I can’t get enough of looking through the Foodie Guide in the My Disney Experience App to see what treat to try next. If you have any other questions, revisit us here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
