Hey there, Linda. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
Linda, right now to enter a
Walt Disney World Theme Park you need two things - valid theme park admission and a
park pass reservation. Even if you don't enter the theme parks until after 2:00 p.m. (which is the time park hopping starts) you still are required to have a park pass reservation.
Disney knows that plans can often change based on dining reservations, park hours and whatnot. Because of this, they have made it possible for you to change out park pass reservations based on availability. What you'll want to do first is check out the
Walt Disney World Theme Park availability calendar. You'll need to make sure that there is availability at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park before dropping your existing park pass reservations. Once you've checked on that, you can head over to your
MyDisneyExperience account to change your plans. After you've logged in you'll scroll down to where you see the "My Plans" section. From there, you'll find the park pass reservation you'd like to change and select "View Details". This will bring you to a page where you will see the option to cancel your existing park pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. After that, you'll head over to the park pass reservation website and start the process of making a new selection. If all goes well, you should see a confirmation and the changes reflected in your account immediately.
I hope this helps, Linda! If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and happy planning!
