Hi Gail,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your questions!
Adjusting your
Disney Park Pass reservation should be a simple process since your vacation is in September. First, make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation calendar to confirm availability beforehand. Next, within My Disney Experience online, go to your account home page and scroll to “Daily Itinerary” and select “View Details”. Next, you’ll simply either select “Cancel” or “Modify Reservation” to make the adjustment to your
Magic Kingdom Park reservation. If you cancel your current reservation, you'll need to go back into the system and re-book for the day you want.
Once your Disney Park Pass is adjusted, I suggest calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations desk to see if there’s any availability for a preferred room at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Since you already have everything booked, including your tickets and Disney Park Passes, it may be easier to just work with the reservation team to see if there are any options for an adjustment. Speaking with them will mean you’re that much closer to your vacation!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your trip later this year. In the meantime, if you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
