Two questions I'm on the deluxe dining plan must my children nine and ten order off the children's menu at be our guest and are we able to go in and just use snack credits instead of my quick I honestly don't think I would like the menu much.

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melanie!  Be Our Guest is a fabulous restaurant that is off the charts for ambience and worldly cuisine. Your family will be enchanted!

Regarding your children on the Disney Dining Plan, a guest ages 10 and up are considered adults for dining purposes. Your 9-year-old will choose from the kid’s menu because they will have a kid’s credit and the 10-year-old the adult’s menu because they have an adult credit. I have had some personal success asking for an adult portion of a kid’s entree (using an adult credit) at few restaurant, but please inquire with your server as participation may vary.  But of course (as Lumiere would say) you can always use your snack credits if you decide to pop in for tea, coffee, or a dessert. If you should want to do this, I highly recommend the Master’s Cupcake (topped with Gray Stuff) or the Lemon Raspberry Cream Puff (which is Gluten Free!) and delicious… if you don’t believe me, you can ask the dishes!

Just unfold your menu, take a glance and then you’ll be our guest… and if there is anything I can do to make your vacation more magical, please ask away. At Walt Disney World Resort, happy guests are a tale as old as time! ~ Lindsey P.
