Hi. I have two questions. First, do you have to stay at a Disney Resort to purchase the dining plan? Second, if you book a character breakfast in one of the parks, are there any issues getting to your meal (if the reservation is before the park opens).

    Hi Deborah!!!

You have asked some wonderful questions in regards to the Disney Dining Plan!  First of all, the Disney Dining Plan is exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort guests, so yes, you have to stay at a Disney Resort to be eligible for the Dining Plan.

There are absolutely no issues with entering the theme park before it opens if you have an early reservation time.  You can look for a dedicated entrance for early Advance Dining Reservations.  I would take your confirmation number with you to prove you do have a reservation.  This is actually a wonderful time to get some great pics of a nearly empty theme park.  It is so cool to walk into a theme park and not have crowds of people around you.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions!!

    Have a magical day!!

    Scott
