I have two questions. First, what resorts are eligible for the 40% military discount, particularly is the Caribbean resort eligible. Second, does the Travel and Leisure office on posts offer the same discounts as Disney itself? Thanks!!!

    Hi there Lindsey!

The 2011-2012 military rates have been released and are noted below:

Military discounts of 30% off Value Resorts, 35% off Moderates and 40% off Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts are now available for stays 10/2/11-9/30/12. There are some black-out dates for the offer.

Disney's Caribbean Beach resort is listed as a moderate resort so it would have a 35% discount. To reserve a room with the 2011-2012 Military discount, call the Disney Reservations Center at (407) W-DISNEY or a travel agent which specializes in Walt Disney World Travel.

I'm not entirely sure if the Travel and Leisure office on post has different offers but, I do know they would have the same offers available to all Walt Disney World military guests. In other words, Disney would extend their offer out to the post. Any other additional offers would be from the post itself. Like if they have a free Disney Bag offer or something of that nature..  I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
