Mom and Child wearing Magic Bands

Two questions. First, how do I order the magic bands. I've purchased and reserved my ticket. Second, I have an old ticket on my account with no expiration and I want to add the Disney Genie plus option. I added to other tickets I purchased.

    Heigh-ho, Randy. Welcome to planDisney.

Can you believe it's less than a month until you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort? It's time to think happy thoughts! Remember, second star to the right and straight on 'til morning.

I recently enjoyed the EARidescent excitement and magical experiences throughout the Theme Parks for The World's Most Magical Celebration. Make sure you check out Disney KiteTails at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's so entertaining! You'll be grinning from EAR to EAR.

A trip to Walt Disney World is made easier by MagicBands. They make it so easy to open your Resort room door, enter the Parks, and pay for things like food and souvenirs. One of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is getting discounts on MagicBands. You can do this up to 6 days before your arrival. Here's how to purchase MagicBands through your My Disney Experience account. Once you've signed in, hover the cursor over the "My Disney Experience" tab. When the drop-down menu appears, click on "My MagicBands and Cards." You'll be taken to a screen listing your travel party with the heading "MagicBand Order for [number in your party] Guests". If you follow that link, you should be able to select MagicBands for each individual in your party.

If you purchase your MagicBands more than 10 days before your arrival, they should be able to ship them to your home. If you order them 6-10 days before your arrival then, if you're staying on property, they'll ship them to your Disney Resort and you can pick them up at the check-in desk once you arrive.

Now let's talk about that lonely ticket of yours! If you'd like to give your ticket "phenomenal cosmic powers" then here's what you need to do: Assuming your ticket is linked to your account, you'll need to make Theme Park reservations. Then, on the day of your visit, open up the app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of your screen, and then select "My Genie Day." You'll discover an option in purple that says "Get Disney Genie+ for Today." Select it and you'll find a list of all the people in your party that you've added via My Friends & Family. Select the members of your party that will use this service and then make your purchase. If you have any issues linking your ticket, then don't hesitate to call "Existing Tickets" in order to receive support from a helpful Cast Member.

I hope that gives you some clarity, Randy. Don't hesitate to stop by again if you have any other questions or would like any recommendations.

See ya real soon! Or as we say in Liverpool, "Ta-ra-la."
