Rick from MA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Two questions: 1. Is Downtown Disney now called Disney Springs? 2. Do you have to buy tickets to the theme parks before you set up your fast passes in advance?

    Hi there Rick!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  The answer to both of your questions is yes.  Downtown Disney has been renamed Disney Springs.  If you are planning an upcoming trip, I highly recommend visiting Disney Springs, which has so many great dining and shopping additions.

You will need to purchase your theme park tickets in order to book FastPass+ selections in advance. Follow the link I have provided to learn more about Disney FastPass+ service

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation draws closer. Best wishes for a magical trip, Rick!

    Happy Planning,
