I have two questions 1) will Disney dining plans/fireworks and shows return for 50th anniversary and after and 2) if you are not a dvc member or annual pass holder where can you buy special event tickets like Christmas if they are returning?

Hello Sai! We always appreciate return Guests at planDisney! I'm glad you're finding our panel of Disney enthusiasts to be helpful with your Disney vacation planning!

Like you, we at planDisney are excitedly awaiting news regarding the World's Most Magical Celebration! Much of the Walt Disney World Resort's operations and Cast Members turned their attention to safely reopening the Disney Parks and Disney Resort Hotels over the past many months. This, in my mind, is the reason why we don't have many details regarding the 50th anniversary celebration. At the present time, we are not aware of a return date for the Disney Dining Plan or for fireworks, parades, and shows. The site that I strongly recommend all Guests keep an eye on is the Disney Parks Blog. Mickey will most likely turn to this site when he is ready to release the 50th anniversary celebration details!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite special events held at Magic Kingdom Park! While this holiday tradition is taking a break this year, we are all hopeful that it will return for next year. Once dates are announced, you can typically purchase tickets for special events on the Walt Disney World Resort website. This is where I have always purchased my tickets for events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Once you navigate to the page for the special event there is usually an area on the page to click to "Purchase Tickets" for the event. Once you make that click you will be taken to a page where you are able to select your date and the number of tickets that you would like to purchase. The "Purchase Tickets" option isn't available now due to the party being cancelled for this year.

Hang in there, Sai! We'll keep watching the Disney Parks Blog together! I'm wishing upon a star that we'll soon have some information regarding the 50th anniversary celebration as well as the return of a few of our Disney favorites!
