David from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have two questions. Will Disney be able to accommodate a person with a peanut allergy in DCA at the new Avenger Campus? Also, will we be allowed to bring in our "water bladder backpack" to DCA and Disneyland?

Hi there, David! Welcome to planDisney.

Like Thanos collecting infinity stones, I have been collecting all the information about the Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park. I am so excited to hear you'll get a chance to swing by and soak up all the Marvel action during your visit next month. Let's talk about how to ensure you are fed, hydrated, and ready to ASSEMBLE!

At the time I'm writing this, allergy-friendly menus have not been posted online for the dining options in Avengers Campus. I recommend checking the menus for Pym Test Kitchen, Pym Tasting Lab, Terran Treats (hello, pineapple churro), and Shawarma Palace in the Disneyland mobile app; allergy-friendly menus are posted in the app for some dining locations, and they are hopefully coming very soon for the Avengers locations.

Not to worry, though, David - you will be able to ask to see allergy-friendly menus at each dining location, and you may also request to speak to a chef or manager to better understand the menu options. You may also stop at Guest Relations to request full allergy menus and ingredient lists.

You'll find further information about food allergies on the Special Dietary Requests webpage. Notably, they do not use separate kitchens, so while they do make reasonable efforts, you will need to use your judgment based on the allergy and need. You may also reach out to the Special Diets team at special.diets@disneyland.com with any questions. You're welcome to bring your own safe snacks and meals; please see the Park Rules for cooler size restrictions and other guidance on what is and isn't allowed into the theme parks.

Hydration bladders are allowed into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park; you'll see they are not listed in the Park Rules.  I always bring lots of water for my family for our visits as it gets so hot, especially in summer. Plus, I can't resist a delicious pretzel or some popcorn! You'll find water fountains throughout the Disneyland Resort - check out this handy map that lists those locations.

Have an epic time on your July visit to the Disneyland Resort! Be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates, and please stop by and see us here at planDisney if we can help with any further questions.

    Have a magical adventure,
    Robyn
