Hi Moms! Two questions: What is the most awesome dessert at WDW that 2 parents and 2 kids can share? We all have a huge sweet tooth! Also, is the hefty price worth it to attend the Not so scary Halloween party?

    Hi Kristyn,

I LOVE your question, largely because I LOVE dessert (especially dessert at Walt Disney World!)  My absolute favorite family dessert is the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort (which is located near Epcot).

This enormous confection consists of eight scoops of ice cream, a generous helping of every ice cream topping in the shop (including brownie pieces and angel food cake chunks), and then (my favorite part) the whole thing is topped with an entire can of cream.  The sundae (I personally think this dessert should be called sundae, Monday and Tuesday) is served in...you guessed it....a kitchen sink.

When the dessert is served, the staff makes a big deal and your kids will likely have a blast digging in!

Regarding part two of your question, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is certainly a fabulous way to celebrate Fall.  The evening includes a whimsical parade that commences with the Headless Horseman riding down Main Street, includes trick-or-treating throughout the park, special character meet and greets (and even the characters are in costume!) and Hall-o-Wishes, a Halloween-themed fireworks spectacular.  My kids are big fans of this special event, however, there is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World, that if it doesn't quite fit into this trip's budget, you'll have no shortage of fun to substitute!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
