Two questions - we will be at Animal Kingdom and have a dinner reservation at the Grand Floridian what is the best way to get there? Another afternoon we will be at Hollywood Studios and then want to go to Epcot what is the best way to do this?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Terri!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! Get ready for a vacation filled with laughter, adventure, and memories that will sparkle long after you return home. From the moment you walk through the gates to your very last Mickey-shaped snack, every moment will be sprinkled with MAGIC. We can't wait to "See You Real Soon!"

I must start off by saying that you will be park hopping and dining at some of the most MAGICAL spots in all of Disney World! I love that kind of Disney day, filled with adventure, great food, and a dash of pixie dust in between. Let’s talk through both plans so you can make the most of your time and travel like a pro!

Let's first start with traveling from Animal Kingdom to the Grand Floridian. After a wild day exploring Pandora and spotting giraffes on Kilimanjaro Safaris, the easiest way to reach the Grand Floridian is to take a Disney bus directly from Animal Kingdom to the Grand Floridian. There’s no need to transfer—just hop on the resort bus outside the park entrance, sit back, and let the MAGIC (and air conditioning) do the work. If you are short on time, a Minnie Van is also a great choice. It’ll get you there in about 20 minutes and drop you right at the main entrance. Either way, you’ll arrive relaxed and ready for your dinner at one of Disney’s most elegant resorts.

Now, let's talk about the best ways to travel between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT! The absolute best way to travel between these two parks is by hopping on the Disney Skyliner. It’s an attraction in itself! The boarding station is just outside Hollywood Studios, and you’ll glide through the sky with incredible views of the resorts and waterways below. You will transfer at Caribbean Beach Resort, then continue on to EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance (which drops you right between the France and UK pavilions—hello, crepes and fish & chips!). If you prefer to stay grounded, you can also take a Friendship Boat from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. It’s slower but wonderfully relaxing, especially if you want a breezy break from walking. Either way, you’re in for a smooth, scenic trip that keeps the Disney magic rolling all day long!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
