Two question. First trip to Disney. Staying at Animal Kindgom Lodge. Because we booked so late, we can't get reservations for any dining that we were interested in. Do you have to have reservations? Also, do we have to use bus service if we have a car?

    Hi William!

Restaurant reservations are strongly recommended but not required. But as you probably noticed, most time slots don't stay open for long. I've seen families go to one of the restaurants and wait for 1st available, but it is a risk you'll be taking.

If you're in a resort or park, and near a table service, I'd ask one of the hosts if there are any close slots available you can take. If not, you may have to just get a quick service..

Bus transportation is optional service. You are more than welcome to drive your car if you prefer.

Good Luck on your 1st Disney trip! You'll love the Animal Kingdom Lodge! Make sure the cameras have a lot of free storage space (smile)!
