Hiya Kathryn, welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Walt Disney World's
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a great option for Guests who may have limitations using the traditional attraction standby queues. Once registered either online or in person, a DAS-registered Guest can use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to select an attraction they would like to experience with up to five additional Guests. A return time, roughly the same as the current wait time for the attraction's standby line, will be issued, and once your return time rolls around, you'll access the attraction using the Lightning Lane! Once that return time has been used, a DAS-registered Guest selects a new return time for another attraction and can keep doing so throughout the day.
Kathryn, this process applies to each DAS-registered Guest, so either will be able to select return times for attractions and include others from their traveling party. However, similar to Lightning Lane selections, each Guest may only have one active DAS return time at once. So, let's say one DAS-registered Guest in your party selects a return time for Space Mountain and includes you in that selection. Because you have an active return time selection, the
other DAS-registered Guest would not be able to include you in
another return time selection until you use your Space Mountain return time.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning journey for your upcoming vacation. Please feel free to
stop by any time with more questions!
