Hi, Tabitha!
Thanks for sending a question to
planDisney about the
Disneyland Resort. I hope you’re having fun planning your visit and that you’re getting excited for all the adventures ahead!
Attractions at
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park don't have maximum weight restrictions for riders, but all Guests must be able to enter and exit the ride vehicles and properly close any safety restraint. There are a variety of restraints and seat types-- including single seats, double seats, and benches-- to accommodate Guests of many weights, sizes, and shapes so they can experience the park attractions and entertainment.
That said, please be aware that there are a handful of
attractions that, in my opinion, have smaller-than-average seating arrangements, like roller coasters requiring a snug seat and safety restraint to accommodate fast-moving vehicles. A couple of examples that come to mind are Space Mountain in Disneyland Park and Goofy’s Sky School in Disney California Adventure Park. Your group can view photos or videos of attractions online before visiting to assess the accessibility and comfort of each one. I recommend paying close attention to the seat size, restraint type, process for entering and exiting the ride vehicles, and movement of the attraction.
When you arrive, your party can also stop at City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park. Ask to speak with a Guest Services Cast Member who can give personalized advice about each attraction to help your friends or family members decide what they will be comfortable trying.
I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to send more questions our way as your pixie-dusted vacation approaches, Tabitha!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
