Hi, Stewart! Welcome to planDisney!
Just a week from today you'll be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort! How exciting is that? On a scale of 1-10, I'm thinking a billion!
And I'm so glad you've already planned ahead and made your Disney Park Pass reservations. It's an important part of the process now, so it's definitely a great idea to get them as soon as you can. At the moment, Disney doesn't have a way to modify an existing reservation, so you'll need to cancel and make a new one for the person who wants to visit a different theme park. I'll walk you through it right here.
Head over to the
Walt Disney World website and sign in, then click on the
My Disney Experience logo in the menu bar. That will bring up all of the plans you've made for your trip. Scroll down until you find the reservation you want to change, and click on "View Details." On the next page, you'll see your reservation and everyone in your party who shares it. Click on "Cancel This Reservation," which takes you to a screen that again shows everyone in your party. This part gets a little tricky. You'll see it says "Keep These Guests' Selections" near the top of the page. That means you'll want to check the boxes next to all of the Guests who do NOT want to change, but instead plan to keep the reservations for Disney's Hollywood Studios. So, you're leaving the box unchecked for the person who wants to go to EPCOT. Make sense? Go ahead and check the appropriate box, then hit "Continue."
Next, we'll need to hop to the
Disney Park Pass page and make a new reservation for the Guest who has decided to switch to EPCOT. Once you've finished, I'd go back to your account and make sure everything is pixie-dusted perfection.
