We are two parties travelling to Disney World. 1 member of the second party was set by mistake as part of the first party. How can I transfer this guest under the second party? Both parties' manager are already friends in the app. Thanks :)

Hi there, Chantal, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy that you’re here with this great question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. It sounds like you’re finalizing your trip details, and hoping to get everyone ready to go in your My Disney Experience Account. The Family & Friends feature is so helpful because it allows you to customize plans for your group, as well as share plans with others.

Chantal, I did a bit of research on this, and according to this helpful website, a child’s profile cannot be transferred to another person to manage. A child is considered a Guest under the age of 13. If the person in question is an adult, or over 13, you can invite them to manage their own plans within My Disney Experience. You might need to reach out to a helpful Cast Member to sort this out for you - I had to do that in the past when I accidentally created duplicate accounts for multiple members of my family (oops)! It’s best to get this sorted before arrival to avoid any issues with your reservations.

You’ll love the convenience of being able to make plans with the other family within the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Whether you’re making Disney Genie+ Service selections or Advance Dining Reservations, you’ll be able to keep track of all of the plans and stay on the same schedule throughout your vacation.

Speaking of the My Disney Experience Mobile App, did you know that you can place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order in advance? This will save you time in line when you’re ready to eat. The helpful map feature will show you how to find everything from restrooms to restaurants, and it will give you directions on how to get there efficiently. It’s like having magic in your pocket!

Chantal, I hope you have the very best time during your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have as you continue to count down to your arrival!

    See you real soon!
