This is a two part question... I’m staying in a DVC that belongs to my mom how do we go about purchasing a meal plan. Next, how many sit down meal credits do you use for the character meals? We are doing pooh arkhaus and Tusker house.

    Hi there, Kimberly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us.

It sounds like you're planning a fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so I'm sure you're getting excited. If you're staying in a Disney Vacation Club resort, you can still add a Dining Plan to your reservation. You'll just need to have the member who made the reservation call Member Services to add it to your reservation. I would definitely check out the different options of dining plans since there are several to choose from though.

As for dining credits, each restaurant is different but it looks like the character meals that you've chosen are all just one dining credit each. Dining with characters at The Crystal Palace, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Tusker House Restaurant are all currently one dining credit per meal. So hopefully this will help you with making your decision on which dining plan will be best for your family. And if you think of any other questions for us, just let us know. We are happy to help!

Have a magical day and happy planning!
