Which two parks would you recommend the most for 3 and 5 year old boys and why??? We are planning on going to WDW 2 seperate days.

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have an exciting trip planned to the Walt Disney World Resort!

First, I suggest you review the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones Guide. This helpful guide will provide a list of attractions the boys might enjoy. Your question is a tough one! Given their ages and the height restrictions for some of the attractions, I suggest Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom theme parks.

Magic Kingdom would certainly be my top suggestion. I think they would enjoy Peter Pan's Flight, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Pirates of the Caribbean is a super cool boat ride that floats by pirate characters in difference scenes. The others I listed all sail through the air in some way so I think the boys would enjoy that sense of flying. They might also love Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spins because it feels like you are in the midst of a video game.

Animal Kingdom has spectacular animals. Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of our favorite experiences because it feels like you are on a real safari watching the animals in their natural habitat. Animal Kingdom now has a new ride on Pandora called Na'vi River Journey. The colors and sounds make this boat ride truly magical. Also at Animal Kingdom, the Festival of the Lion King show has music and acrobats that mesmerized our girls when they were 5-years old.

Melissa, remember to make dining reservations for character meals. These are a great way to see some of their favorite characters. Try The Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's or Tusker House and be sure to have those autograph books ready to go!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
