We have two options for Chef Mickey's: 8:55 or 9:05 PM. Wishes is at 8, which I really want to see. If I go at 9:05, will I still have time to both feed my toddler and eat, while still getting her time with the characters? They close at 9:30.

    Hi Cary!

No worries!  The characters and the food will be around for a while after the last guests are admitted into the restaurant.  It's a wonderful location to interact with the characters.  Be sure to bring your camera!

By the way, I would recommend going with 8:55 pm.  You really should have no problems getting there on time if you watch the fireworks from Main Street USA, unless the fireworks are delayed due to weather or some technical difficulty.

Also, it's pretty easy to walk to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom and much faster than taking the monorail.  It's literally only a 10 minute walk along a well lit and safe path from the Magic Kingdom entrance to the Contemporary Resort.  Of course, the other option is to take the Resort Monorail, but it will actually take longer since that monorail stops at the Grand Floridian and Polynesian first.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
