I have two older (19 &16) boys who have been to WDW twice before. My youngest (9) will be experiencing for the first time. What is the best way to get flexibility (older boys may want to play golf) yet a good deal in packages? Amy

    Hi Amy,

Thanks so much for writing!  I think one of the things that makes Walt Disney World such a fabulous vacation destination for families is that the resort has a huge number of exciting options for everyone in your party to enjoy, from a tiny tot, to an enthusiastic great-grandparent.  If your older boys love to golf, Disney offer some of the finest golf courses in the country.  In addition to golfing, however, I'm betting your older boys will find plenty of attractions and entertainment inside the four theme parks.  There are thrill rides in each of the parks that get rave revues from teens.   Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, Space Mountain and Mission Space are just a few!  They'll also be able to enjoy two incredible water parks, DisneyQuest (an indoor, interactive amusement park for gaming lovers) and tons of fabulous restaurants and shops at Downtown Disney.  As for your younger son, I'm guessing you won't have to try very hard to ensure he has the time of his life!

Disney offers a variety of special packages and discounts during the year, including free dining and significantly reduced room rates.  I recommend checking the website often to find a special that suites your vacation needs and budget.  If you are thinking that your older boys won't want to "play" in the parks for your entire trip (for example, if they go golfing for a day or two), you may consider purchasing them a Magic Your Way ticket for a shorter number of days than for yourself and youngest.

    Have a great trip!
