Two of the nights we are coming to WDW in September indicate a "special ticketed event" at Be Our Guest, but I can't figure what the event is. Can you tell me what the event is so I might pursue tickets? I'm desperate for dinner:)

Hi Stacey! Getting dining reservations at the famous Be Our Guest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is difficult. If you have been able to secure some then congratulations!

There are nights starting in September where they will be offering a special ticketed event party in the Magic Kingdom called Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This party officially starts at 7pm and continues on until midnight. Dining reservations held during that time will ask that the guests show they have purchased the party ticket.

The park is cleared of all guests who do not hold this special ticket by 7pm. You cannot even shop in the stores after that time making the party definitely unique for the ticket holders. You can also enter the Magic Kingdom starting at 4pm on the day of the park using only your special event ticket even though it does not begin until 7pm. Many guests visit another park during the morning and afternoon hours and then come to the Magic Kingdom at 4pm using their special event ticket.

If you are able to purchase tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party you will not be disappointed. You can enjoy the attractions with short lines, head to the trick or treat areas, experience the wonderful Halloween Parade and fireworks, and get in the spirit of this unique holiday at Disney.
