Hey, howdy, hey, Scott, and welcome to planDisney. You certainly have piqued my interest and sent me on a journey like Captain Jack Sparrow looking for the Black Pearl.
Regardless of which pass (including
Legacy Passes) you have, you will still need to make a
Disney Park Pass Reservation and will be held to the
requirements of that particular pass. I recommend you call and
speak with a Cast Member about Existing Tickets to get the specifics and how to
convert old tickets to be used (if they are not already) with your
My Disney Experience account. They will discuss the next steps to help you use your tickets to make sure you can get into the theme parks in a couple of weeks.
What has me scratching my head is the "lifetime ticket." After a bit of searching online and through books, I cannot find any information about lifetime tickets and if they exist what to do with them. While there are reports of these tickets, after speaking with a Cast Member, there is no option to purchase them now.
Maybe you purchased Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets with the No-Expiration option. These tickets were discontinued on February 22, 2015, and are honored to this day. Maybe you have a current
Walt Disney World Disney Incredi-Pass that offers no blockout dates. You will need to chat with a Cast Member about these also if you do not see them in the "Tickets and Passes" section in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App or after logging in to your account at the
Walt Disney World Resort website.
planDisney Pro Tip: Be sure to study up on ways to access
Virtual Queue attractions such as
TRON Lightcycle / Run for your upcoming trip. These boarding passes are a way to experience more magic without having to pay for it.
Scott, I am so glad you brought this question to me because as a legacy Disney Premier Pass holder, I am always looking for more ways to enjoy the theme parks on both coasts. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or to ask for more Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
