My two kids (12 and 18) and I will be sailing on the Disney Dream in March 2011. My 12 year old daughter would like to do some of the spa / salon type of services like a manicure and/or pedicure. I know the spa says it is only for adults over 18 years ol

    Hi Matthew,

I have good-news, bad-news for you.  I think there was a demand for spa services for those under the age of 18, and the cruise line addressed this demand by building the all new Chill Spa onboard the Disney Dream.  The bad news is that these services are exclusively for guests ages 13-17, so your daughter is one year shy of the age requirement.  You could certainly ask while onboard, but I wouldn't make her any promises because it is unlikely that they will permit her to book services there.

If she would enjoy something a little different, you could book her an appointment to have her hair braided or wrapped.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
