Two of my kids are old enough (12 & 11) for both the Oceaners and Edge clubs- can I register them for both or do they have to choose?

    Hi there, Camille!

Ahoy and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited for your family’s upcoming adventure at sea with Captain Mickey!  You are going to have the BEST time and make some incredible memories that will last a lifetime!

Your Mouseketeers (all of them) are undoubtedly going to have an amazing time on “the Mickey Boat”!  They will LOVE the onboard Youth Clubs where they can create, play, explore and make new friends…and the grown-ups will love having some time sans kiddos, too!  I completely understand your tweens wanting to possibly explore all the spaces and that will not be a problem whatsoever!  They can certainly – most definitely – participate in activities in both Edge and the Oceaneers Club or Oceaneers Lab spaces!  So, you will not need to choose between the spaces when you register them, but I do recommend going ahead and registering them for the Youth Clubs when you complete your Online Check-In so they will be ready to go once you get onboard.  Then, once onboard, take advantage of the Open House hours offered on embarkation day to explore the spaces with them.  There will also be Open House hours offered daily in each of the Youth Clubs that anyone – of any age – can go play together in the different spaces!

Camille, did you know that each stateroom has two Wave Phones in them that you can use to keep up with others while onboard?!?!  This is a great way to keep up with your tweens, if you decide to give them a little independence while onboard!  Additionally, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app has a chat feature on it that can be used to message others while onboard, too!

As you continue planning for your adventure at sea, please come back with any other questions you may have!
Wishing you the BEST vacation EVER!

    Happy Sailing!
