Hey there, Ryan! Thanks for bringing this great question our way.
I'm so excited to hear that your family is making some magical plans to visit
Walt Disney World Resort this April! Spring is a wonderful time to visit and I couldn't be more excited for you. But before we can get you standing in front of
Cinderella Castle, let's make sure we have all your plans ready to go – including registering with the Disability Access Service!
Ryan, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of the great ways that Walt Disney World Resort helps to make sure that the magic is accessible to all Guests. I reached out to a Cast Member about your question and was told that, since every situation is unique, this will be determined by the Cast Member that you speak to when you
register through the live chat. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but Hakuna Matata! No worries! In addition to your making your
Disability Access Service (DAS) Advance pre-arrival selections, you will be able to select more attractions once you tap into the parks. These additional selections are made one at a time through your
My Disney Experience app.
Speaking of which, I'd recommend that you take a little time to explore the My Disney Experience app before you arrive! A little like your own magic wand, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even
mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
If you have any other questions, please visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.
See ya real soon!
