Hey there, Valerie! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.
Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it! I’m sure you’re already counting down the days, weighing the pros and cons of different restaurants, considering which attractions to prioritize, and debating how many Mickey ice cream bars you’re going to enjoy. Spoiler: There is no wrong answer!
You should have no problems making reservations for dining,
Enchanting Extras, or
Lightning Lane Passes while splitting your stay between two Official Walt Disney World Hotels. You’ll be able to make dining and Enchanting Extras reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days) 60 days in advance of your arrival. It will be a little different for you with Lightning Lane Passes. You're able to purchase Lightning Lane Passes 3 days in advance of each day of your visit; they can’t all be booked in 1 day. Only guests staying at
Disney Resort hotels can book Lightning Lane Passes for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days), and they can do so 7 days in advance of their arrival.
Valerie, you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World at such a great time of year. The winter holiday season will be in full swing across the whole resort! Be sure to check the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches for news and updates about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and other fun festivities. They recently shared the
lineup of narrators for the 2025 Candlelight Processional (Brie Larson!), and I always find their Foodie Guides especially useful.
I hope this information helps with your upcoming vacation planning. Don’t hesitate to come right back if you have additional questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
