Hello there, Cali, and welcome to planDisney!
I’m so happy for you and your sister! As a sister myself, sister trips are among my favorite trips. My sisters and I try for a Disney kid-free trip once a year. It’s been a while, so we are overdue for one. You may have inspired me to make it happen, though.
The good news is that you and I are in similar situations. For my upcoming trip, I’ve booked my room at All-Star Music, and my friend who will be meeting me the next day is booked at a different resort. She was able to add me to her reservation with no problem, even though my name is currently on my own and our dates overlap a bit. So if you’ve made one reservation and she’s made the other, you should be good to go!
If you are looking to make both reservations yourself, I’ve found that giving the Walt Disney World Resort a
call makes that process much easier. And if your sister is looking to add you to the Pop Century reservation and it's under her name, then she will need to call to add you. Calling Walt Disney World Resort is going to be your go-to, so that both of you can be listed on the reservations correctly.
I can’t wait for you both to enjoy everything Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. By staying at Pop Century, you’ll get to enjoy the
Skyliner, and the pool at
Coronado Springs is one of my favorites! I hope you both have time to check it out, it’s worth it.
While exploring the parks, be sure to take your time exploring EPCOT. You’ll be able to enjoy my favorite festival,
Flower & Garden! Plus, traveling with your sister gives you the chance to enjoy each booth without getting too full. My dad and I took turns ordering different beverages and snacks while we traveled the
World Showcase. This meant we were able to enjoy everything we wanted to since we were sharing. I think that’s one of my favorite parts of EPCOT, snacking my way through it.
Cali, I hope this helps ease your worries. Have an incredible time and be sure to take plenty of photos!
Magical memories,
Shantel
