I had to make two hotel reservations at the same hotel since it didn’t allow me to book all the days I needed in one reservation. I was told I could let the hotel know when I did online checkin but I don’t see anywhere to do that in the my Disney experienc

    Hi Janet!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

It’s great that you’re planning ahead to ensure a smooth and relaxing stay! I’ve had to do the same thing before - book two separate reservations at the same Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to span the duration of my vacation. I wanted to link my two reservations together, mainly so we wouldn’t have to change rooms in the middle of our trip. While there isn’t a specific place to note this during the online check-in process in the My Disney Experience app, there are still a few ways to let the hotel know that you would like to stay in the same room for the duration of your stay.

The most effective way to make this request is by calling the resort directly. A Cast Member at the front desk can note your reservations in the system and link them together, making it clear that you’d prefer to stay in the same room. You can do this before you arrive to ensure everything is set up in advance. If you're not sure of the resort's direct number, you can call Disney’s general reservation line and they can assist you.

If you’re unable to contact the resort by phone, you can also email Walt Disney World Resort using this convenient online form.

When you arrive at Walt Disney World, make sure to mention your request to the Cast Member at the front desk of your resort hotel when you check-in. They will do their best to accommodate your request and keep you in the same room, as long as availability allows. As a reminder - even if you’ve called ahead, it’s always a good idea to confirm your request with the front desk upon arrival. This helps ensure that your preference is on record and that all Cast Members are aware of your request to link your reservations.

Disney Cast Members are known for their excellent service and will do their best to accommodate your request to stay in the same room. While they can’t guarantee it due to room availability and scheduling, they will make every effort to fulfill your request if possible!

I hope this information is helpful. Have a magical time at your Disney resort, and may your vacation be filled with pixie dust and wonderful memories!
