    I have two girls on their first trip to Disney Dec 18 - 21 visiting MK and AK. What would be the "MUST DO" character dining experience? How much do these generally cost for a family of four?

    Hi Karen!  Thank you so much for the great question!

    The answer to your question depends upon which characters are your girls' favorites!

    If you are choosing to do only ONE Character Dining Experience, I highly recommend Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary Resort.  It is a short ride on the monorail from the Magic Kingdom, which is completely doable if you are spending an entire day in that park.  At Chef Mickey's, you will dine from a fantastic buffet with Mickey Mouse himself and friends, including Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Chip & Dale!  This is our family's all-time favorite, and one that we never get tired of attending!

    Now, if your girls are big fans of the Disney Princesses, I would have to recommend Cinderella's Royal Table which is located INSIDE Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom.  Here, you will dine as you are visited by the charming Disney Princesses, with spectacular views of Fantasyland! 

    Now, if they are fans of Winnie the Pooh & Friends, I have to recommend The Crystal Palace, which is a buffet style dinner located just off Main Street, U.S.A. within the Magic Kingdom.  It's loads of fun!

    The cost for all of these Character Dining Experiences is currently listed as $36 to $59.99 per person.

    No matter which one you decide to try, I recommend that you make your Advanced Dining Reservation as early as possible, by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  You can make these reservations as early as 180 days in advance.
