We have two girls - 9 and 7. I was curious to know if a 9 yr old could purchase an adult dining plan, as she is not liking the children's menu options at most of the restaurants that we plan to visit. Greatly Appreciated

    Hello Jennette,

The Disney Dining Plan is a wonderful way to experience all the different restaurants at Walt Disney World.  Since your daughter is nine years old, she will have to order from the Children's menu.  I would suggest, however, to make dining reservations at places where there are buffets for lunch or dinner.  This would be using your Table Service meal credits.  Some suggestions for this at the Magic Kingdom are the Crystal Palace where you can dine with Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Woods and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner which is an all you can eat, family style dinner.  At Epcot, the Garden Grill Restaurant is a character dinner with Chip, Dale, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto and is an all you can eat family style dinner as well.  The Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion has a wonderful buffet complete with German entertainment.  The Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is an all meal buffet with the Princesses.  At Hollywood Studios, a casual family buffet for all meals is at the Hollywood & Vine. Breakfast and lunch here are character meals.   Tusker House at Animal Kingdom has a character breakfast buffet and lunch and dinner buffet that is African themed.  Ohana at the Polynesian Resort and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian are fantastic buffets as well.  Character dining is available at both locations.  As you can see, Jennette, there are several options for your daughter.  Send me a follow up question if I can help you further.  I hope your vacation is magical.
