Hello Alexandra!
Welcome to planDisney and Bonjour! My son, now considered a "Disney Adult" at the ripe old age of 10, is a very fussy eater. I, therefore, understand the struggle of wanting to enjoy different restaurants while having guests with you who are not flexible eaters!
Luckily, most Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurants allow guests to order from the children's menu but it will be priced and portioned for adults.
Be Our Guest Restaurant will be able to accommodate you but I would speak to a Cast Member when ordering to make sure. The chicken strips are available on the
Kids' Create-Your-Own Entrées menu and as always are delicious. If you don't believe, me just ask the dishes! I want to add that I do find that it is during my trips to Walt Disney World Resort that I can find ways to encourage my kids to try new foods as there is always something on the menu that is yummy and "safe."
One of my favorite more "exotic" restaurants that I love to eat with my family is
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Park. My kids especially love the Brazilian Cheese Bread which is a secret appetizer on the menu. A family favorite and easily accepted by the pickiest of eaters. Their variation on the chicken strip is the "
Chef Tandaji's Crispy Chicken." It has a good crunch and feels like a fancier chicken strip. My son loves it and it has neutral enough flavors that he accepts it but it's different enough that he feels like he took some risks. Also, if the menu does not have fries or "chips" always ask if it can be made. I have been pleasantly surprised by their availability.
I hope this helps and you all have a delicious time!
Happy Planning!
