Going on a two family trip( two reservations)does each family have to buy the memory maker or will we be able to get away with only buying one? Also my son with Autism will get the GAC will that work with all 9 of us or just the five in my family. Thanks

    Hi Tara,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and greetings from a fellow Hoosier! I'm delighted to hear that you're planning another incredible Disney vacation and will get to experience the magic this time with friends! You guys will surely have a BLAST together and make memories that you'll cherish forever.

I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to share one Memory Maker purchase between the two families. You'll want to make sure that you're all linked together via the Family & Friends list and have given each other permission to share Disney PhotoPass photos, but once you've done that, whoever purchased the Memory Maker will be able to view, share, and download any photos for up to 25 members of their Family & Friends list. Pretty sweet, huh? This will not only include photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers, but also any photos or videos captured on select Disney attractions. We always love looking through everyone's different reactions!

I, too, have a kiddo with autism, and I can tell you that we don't have any trouble getting the Disability Access Service (which replaced the Guest Assistance Card several years ago) set up for our immediate family of seven, but when we traveled with Grandma and Grandpa too, the Cast Members wouldn't allow them to be on it with us. You are able to use the Disability Access Service along with the regular FastPass+ service, though, so definitely feel free to plan your three pre-planned FastPass+ selections with your friends as well as any subsequent choices after you've enjoyed those initial three selections.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tara, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming! I hope that you and your friends have a truly magical vacation together!
