Greetings, Mary!
Welcome to planDisney! A visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with family is so much fun. And planning is a big part of the excitement. When each Guest can view and manage their own plans, it allows for a lot more flexibility as you finalize all the details for the big adventure. Here's all you need to know about transferring a My Disney Experience account to a Guest, so they can begin to plan on their own!
I am happy to report that it only takes a few easy steps to send an invitation for your family to manage their
My Disney Experience accounts. This will allow everyone to continue to plan together and manage their plans independently if needed. And the best part is this will not impact any of your current plans and reservations! To get started, head to the
Walt Disney World website. Choose
Account Settings & Preferences from the
My Plans drop-down menu. Then click the
Family & Friends link on the left side of the screen. Select the blue
Manage option next to the Guest you would like to manage their own account. The following page will display the option to invite your family member to plan on their own. Once you send them the invitation, they can access their account and begin managing their own plans. It is important to note that once they take over the account, you will no longer have the ability to manage their plans on their behalf. You will still be able to include them on hotel, dining, and Lightning Lane reservations. But you will not be able to cancel or modify plans they make.
As you continue to make magical plans for your Ohana, consider booking a
Capture Your Moment session during your stay. These personalized, private photo sessions are available at all four theme parks. This is a must on each of our trips, and the pictures are some of our favorite family photos ever. The PhotoPass Photographers do such an incredible job of bringing out everyone's personalities and finding the perfect backdrop for the crew. And the photos will
automatically load to your My Disney Experience account. It may just be the practically perfect souvenir!
We'll see ya real soon!
