Two families traveling to WDW at the same time. Both staying on property (separate reservations) with the regular dining plan. We are linked on the MDE app. Can I make dinner reservations at CRT for all of us using dining credits, no credit card charged?

    Hi Lisa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

When I visit Walt Disney World Resort with people who’ve never had the chance to visit before, or with princess-obsessed little girls, we usually have one meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Typically, the “lead guest” on the dining reservation has their credit card charged for all Guests on the reservation, including those who have chosen to purchase a Disney Dining Plan for their vacation.

From what I understand, some Guests have been able to call Disney Dining and to use their Disney Dining Plan entitlements to prepay for their meal, without using a credit card. From what I understand, that transaction can take some time (and patience!) to perform, and that would be especially true in your case if the Cast Member will need to take Dining Plan entitlements from several different Disney Resort Hotel Packages. I’d recommend that you contact Walt Disney World Resort and ask them whether this will be possible for your reservation. They’ll be happy to try to help!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
