We are two families traveling together. I have sent the invite to the 18+ in the other group some that I can add them to my friends and family. How do I get their 12 year old on my friends and family. Doing the Genie+ all together when it's time.

    Hi Natalie, welcome to planDisney!

You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in exactly one week. Seven days. One hundred and sixty-eight hours! Once you arrive, try not to count the minutes; instead, make those magical minutes count. Make them count by taking advantage of time-saving services like Mobile Food and Beverage ordering and Lightning Lanes, both accessed via the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Three chEARS for your efforts to connect with your planning party in My Disney Experience before you arrive. This will be another huge time saver, allowing you to easily view each other's Disney PhotoPass photos and book Genie+ Lightning Lanes together during your park days. I understand you're well on your way to connecting with the adults in the other family. Here's what should happen next to connect with their 12-year-old:

    1. Once at least one adult in the other family that is connected to the 12-year-old has accepted your invitation to connect as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience, ask them to make sure their Family and Friends list is shared. They can do this by accessing their Family and Friends list. If the words "My list is shared" do not appear next to their name, they need to click "Update" and "Share My List."
    2. Once you've confirmed that their Family and Friends list is shared, go into your Family and Friends list and click "Add a Guest." Select "Find through my connected Guests" and the 12-year-old should automagically appear since they are connected to an adult whose list is shared with you. Select the name of the 12-year-old and finally "Add Guest."

These steps can also be taken in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> scroll down to "My Profile" --> "Family and Friends List" --> "Add a Guest"). In my experience, you may need to close and reopen the app in order for the child's name to appear.

I hope this information helps you make your Disney moments count, Natalie. Please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney with any other last-minute trip-planning questions. We're hEAR to help!
