When using
Disney Genie+ Service at Disney World, each individual or family must purchase Genie+ for themselves. Each person who wants to use Genie+ must have purchased it for that day. This purchase is individual and must be done through each person's
My Disney Experience account. If both families are connected through the Friends & Family list in the My Disney Experience app, and everyone has purchased Genie+ for the day, then one person can make Genie+ reservations for the entire group.
If the other family purchases Genie+ at 6am, you still need to ensure that your family has also purchased Genie+ for that day. Simply being connected on the Friends & Family list does not automatically transfer their Genie+ purchase to you. Assuming both families have purchased Genie+, at 7am, you can log in and make a Genie+ reservation for everyone in the group, including members of both families, provided they are all linked in the Friends & Family list and have active park tickets for that day.
