Hi there Hoshank, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question en route to your magical vacation. I see that you're arriving in just a few days. You must be so excited!
Spending time with friends and extended family in the Disney Parks is my favorite thing in the whole world. Just recently I vacationed with a whole crew of my planDisney pals at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. I'm going to share what we did to maximize our chances of securing rooms close together. Keep in mind that fulfilling your request cannot be guaranteed, but Cast Members will do their best to meet your needs.
It sounds like your traveling party will be enjoying the spacious family suites at either
Disney's All-Star Music Resort or
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. First, you'll need to gather some personal information for the lead guests on both reservations. This includes their full names, email addresses associated with My Disney Experience, phone numbers, home addresses, and resort confirmation numbers. Armed with this data, you can either reach out to
Walt Disney World Reservations via phone or utilize the chat feature in the
Help Center to connect with a Cast Member who can link your reservations. I opted for the chat feature, and the Cast Member promptly sent me a secure online form to complete for each resort reservation. Within minutes, all three reservations were seamlessly linked and marked as "traveling together." Upon arrival at our resort, we were delighted to find that two of our rooms were adjoining, and the third was just a few doors down the corridor. For the best chance of a similar experience, I recommend refraining from making any other room requests during
online check-in.
I will wish upon a star that everything works out for you, Hoshank. One of my favorite things to do when traveling with a large group is unwinding at the resort hotel pool in the afternoon or evening, reflecting on the day's adventures. Take the opportunity to relax together after a day filled with magical memories. Best wishes for a wonderful trip, and we'll see ya real soon!
