Welcome to the planDisney table, Bridget! Thanks for stopping by to be our guest today with your question about dining at the Walt Disney World Resort! It sounds like you'll be traveling with some friends during the
most wonderful time of year, so let's dig into your question!
Bridget, guests are welcome to dine together even if not all parties are using a
Disney dining plan. You'll just want to let your server know when you are seated which members of the party will be using dining plan meals, and which will be paying differently. This will ensure that the guests using the Disney Dining Plan are given all of their options and that the table is billed correctly.
Because you're making plans to do some table-service dining, be sure to
make your reservations in advance; you can book your dining 60 days in advance, and if you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book 60 days before your check-in date for the entire length of your stay, offering a little more availability later in your stay for those popular dining venues.
Bridget, some of my favorite table-service meals include
Tony's Town Square at Magic Kingdom,
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT for character dining, and
Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Another great holiday dining option is Minnie's Seasonal Dine at
Hollywood and Vine - here you'll find Minnie Mouse and friends decked out for the holidays!
I hope this helps, Bridget, and I hope you enjoy some delicious meals during your holiday visit! If you have any other questions, come see us again at
planDisney! We'll save you a seat at the table!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
