Two families coming to WDW together. We were told we qualify a Grand Gathering. What are the benefits and how do I find information on this? Thanks for all your help.

Hi Terry, Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel! We've traveled to Disney with other family's several times and have had up to 18 in our Grand Gathering once! There's no other place I'd rather share memories together than Disney World!

This is a link with information on planning for large travel parties: HERE. Call Disney's Grand Gathering Travel Planners at: 407-WDW-PLAN (407-939-7526). They can assist you with making your lodging and dining reservations. Your group will be given a Grand Gathering number that will link all of your lodging reservations together. This assists the Resort in assigning rooms together (provided you are all staying at the same place). In addition, by being part of a Grand Gathering, you can participate in several Experiences (based on availability) including: The Safari Celebration Dinner, the Good Morning Gathering and the International Dinner & IllumiNations Dessert Reception.

Be sure to book your Dining (and the Grand Gathering Experiences) as soon as possible, up to 180 days prior to arrival, so you can enjoy meals together.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have further questions.

    Have a Magical vacation!
