Erick from PA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We have two families (2 adults, a 4 year old), totalling 6 people, looking to book a concierge suite for a cruise to the Caribbean or the Bahamas in May 2027 for ~4 days. Ideally, we'd like to have a shared living space whole each child naps.

Hi there, Erick! Welcome aboard, planDisney!

A Disney cruise is also my favorite way to vacation with extended family and friends! Disney Cruise Line makes it so easy to travel with large and/or multigenerational groups because there are always so many activities happening on board, for many different age groups! One of the other ways Disney Cruise Line makes it easy to vacation with large groups is that the staterooms offer many different configurations and layouts, including at the Concierge level. I would be happy to help you find the right Concierge stateroom for your travel party!

Like you, I've stayed in a Concierge Suite back when I had very small children, and being able to put them down for a nap and close the door without having to leave my actual stateroom was absolutely priceless! So I not only agree with this reasoning when booking the Concierge Suite, but our great minds are thinking alike, Erick!

Since most Disney Cruise Line staterooms accommodate between 3 and 5 guests, including some of the Concierge staterooms, when choosing your stateroom, you will need to ensure the Concierge Suite you choose can accommodate 6 or more guests.

Many different Disney cruise ships are sailing in May 2027, both to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. There are Concierge Suites available on each one. The type of stateroom you will need to book is called a “Concierge Royal Suite”. These staterooms can accommodate between 6 and 8 guests, depending on the exact room and ship that you choose. Some of them even have two floors! But no matter the ship you choose, one of the features they all have in common is multiple sleeping areas in each one. This way, you will find it easy to have the kiddos take a nap while you relax anywhere else in the stateroom without waking them up. (Those 4 PM naps were my favorite Room Service snacking moments!) Staterooms in this category also offer the perfect arrangement for multiple families who are traveling together, thus offering plenty of space to spread out with privacy.

These staterooms also feature the same amazing Concierge amenities, such as Concierge Lounge access, as well as personalized and dedicated service from the Concierge Team, even before you sail! These were some of my favorite features when sailing Concierge, especially when we’d sail as a large party, so that dedicated service really came in handy!

Whichever ship and stateroom you choose, I suggest booking as early as you can, because Concierge staterooms are popular and can book up quickly. You will need to call Disney Cruise Line to book your Concierge Royal Suite, as online reservations can only be made for parties of 5 or fewer.

Erick, I hope I offered guidance to choose the right Concierge stateroom for your travel party. I wish your group the most fun memories on board! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions.
