We come two Disney usually every two years. We usually stay at Riverside and book two rooms, my kids are teens and I need two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are 4 of us. Is it better to stay at a vila if so do you recommend any? Thank you!

    Hi Pamela,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!

My family very often stays at a Deluxe Villa Resort when we stay at Walt Disney World. We love the extra space and amenities at these resorts. In a one-bedroom or larger villa, you will find a full kitchen and a washer and dryer right inside the villa! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a lovely resort, and getting two hotel rooms there could work for your family; however, my family really does enjoy the full kitchen and laundry right in our villa at a Deluxe Villa Resort.

You mention that you would need two bedrooms, and the Deluxe Villa Resorts do have two-bedroom villas. However, you could consider that there are a couple of these resorts in which the one-bedroom villas have two bathrooms. The second sleeping area is the living area; however, for four people, this could work quite well! The one-bedroom villas with this arrangement can be found at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. My family loves this resort for the sleek, modern design as well as the ability to walk to Magic Kingdom. The other resort where you can find this configuration is at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This resort is amazing for its dark and lovely decor and the ability to see exotic animals outside of nearly every window.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Pamela! Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
