I have two Disney 1-Day Park Hopper Passes that expired while the park was closed during Covid, on Sept. 18, 2020. Has the expiration date been extended due to the park closure?

Hey there, Kathleen! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for your ticket question.

Many Guests' tickets were affected during the park closure. When Disneyland Resort reopened in 2021, they did extend expiration dates for most ticket types. To see what the new extension expiration date is for your ticket, you can go to the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations information page and scroll down to the bottom to Modifications and Cancellations.

If your new expiration date has already happened, do not worry! According to eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused ticket can be exchanged for a new ticket of equal or greater value. This means you should be able to use the amount you paid toward a new ticket if your ticket has expired. To do this you would visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth with your expired tickets and any confirmation/receipt you may have for them. If you have any other specific questions about your ticket type, you can always reach out to a Cast Member at Ticket Services.

Once you have your tickets ready to make theme park ticket reservations for the day you want to go, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog. All the latest and greatest information about Disneyland Resort gets released here, including the recent announcement about nighttime spectaculars returning this spring!

Kathleen, I hope this helps you out. If you have any other questions, feel free to stop back by planDisney. We are all ears!
