Two days of our WDW trip are days when Magic Kingdom closes at 6 for Mickey's Christmas Party. Is there any point in trying to park hop to Animal Kingdom or Epcot if we leave MK around 5-5:30? Or does it take so long it's not worth it?

    Hello Emily!
Yes, it is definitely worth it to park hop to either Epcot or Disney's Animal Kingdom Park if Magic Kingdom Park closes early to regular Guests on a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evening! Disney's Animal Kingdom Park has more to offer now at night now that Pandora - The World of Avatar is open (this is truly incredible at night) and the Rivers of Light Nighttime show is amazing too! Also Epcot has Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and many other incredible nighttime things to do! To get to Epcot from the Magic Kingdom Park, you can take the Monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC) and then transfer to a Monorail to Epcot. This will take around 30 to 45 minutes based on my experience. To get to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park from the Magic Kingdom Park, you can take a Disney bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and then a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. This will take between 40 to 50 minutes or less depending on how long you have to wait for the next bus to come (typically the buses come approximately every 20 minutes). I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magically in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
